Nostalgia is a very powerful tool in entertainment, and this seems to be especially true for college students. Bringing back memories from a different time has a certain novelty and emotion that can only be achieved through nostalgia.
At Neon Entertainment, we provide unique experiences and high-quality entertainment often designed to create a nostalgic or classic experience for college events. We are here to share with you some of our most retro, most nostalgic entertainment for college events, to give you ideas of how to make your campus’s next event a blast.
Skate around Campus with a Portable Roller Rink
Nothing says nostalgia like a roller rink. There’s no experience quite like gliding across a tiled floor with your friends. Now, we can bring that unique experience straight to your campus, and students love it. Portable Roller Rinks are one of the most in-demand experiences that we can bring to college, and we attribute a large portion of that popularity to nostalgia.
We bring the rink to you, set it all up, and let students have a blast. When the event is over, we break down the rink, take it with us, leaving no damage to the indoor or outdoor location the roller rink is set up in. The process is easy, clean, and students love seeing a nostalgic piece of their childhood right inside the student union.
Make An Exciting Event with Musical Bingo
Bingo is a classic event that people have loved for generations; there’s something so timeless about it that isn’t easily replicated. At Neon Entertainment, we’ve taken the attraction and improved it to be a unique game show experience, along with an in-person host to keep the action going.
Our bingo experience typically combines the retro event with music and excitement that appeals to a college audience. These are the kind of music clips that students can’t help but sing along to.
Blacklight Minigolf
If you are looking for nostalgia, Blacklight Mini Golf might be the perfect event for you; the blacklight atmosphere that we provide turns a normal space into a truly unique experience. When you combine that blacklight experience with mini golf, you have a recipe that creates the perfect nostalgic attraction.
Blacklight Mini Golf turns your campus student union or other space into a party that students can not stop participating in. Mix this experience with our other Glow Experiences or even something like a Silent Disco, and suddenly your campus has an amazing event that you can’t get anywhere else
Nostalgic DIY Events
On top of having curated entertainment, we also give colleges the freedom to run their own experience with our nostalgic DIY Events.
DIY Create-a-Creature: Bring back nostalgic memories from when you were a kid.
Create-a-Creature is such a nostalgia-filled event that we had to mention it here. Create-a-Creature brings back nostalgic memories of building your own studded animal from when you were a kid. This is another one of the most popular attractions among college students, and you don’t have to look far to see why.
It’s an outstanding DIY event that students participate in with their friends. It’s relaxing, fun, and social. After showing it off to eachother students get an adorable stuffed animal they can take back to their dorms or give as a gift. It’s truly a special experience.
DIY Tie-Dye T-Shirts
Tie-Dye T-Shirts are a timeless experience, which is extremely popular amongst teenagers and adults alike. It never goes out of style, and it gives students an opportunity to be creative on campus.
We ship the event to you; students make their shirts, show them off to eachother around campus, and wear them all semester long. Students love the event because they get something meaningful out of it; it’s fun, nostalgic, and just a good chance to interact with their friends or with other students they haven’t had a chance to speak to.
