New Campus Entertainment Ideas: Discover the Latest Additions to Neon Entertainment

Keeping campus programming fresh is one of the best ways to increase student engagement, and new campus entertainment ideas are exactly what event planners are looking for. Neon Entertainment continues to expand its roster with exciting new performers and interactive experiences designed to create memorable campus events. From nationally recognized comedians and an emerging singer-songwriter to personalized make and take programs, these newest additions offer something for every audience.

Meet Our Newest Performers

Sydney Leigh

Singer-songwriter Sydney Leigh brings heartfelt storytelling and captivating acoustic performances to campuses nationwide. Inspired by artists including Joni Mitchell, Sheryl Crow, Regina Spektor, Carole King, and Madison Cunningham, Sydney combines thoughtful lyrics with personal stories of love, growth, loss, and humor.

Her music has earned praise from respected musicians including Eric Hutchinson, Adam Duritz of Counting Crows, and Rob Thomas. She has performed at the Underwater Sunshine Festival, opened for Dan Bern and Stephen Kellogg, and is currently recording new music while continuing to perform throughout the Northeast.

Whether performing intimate concerts or larger campus events, Sydney creates an authentic connection with audiences through songs that explore the human experience.

CJ Koepp

If you’re searching for a comedian who brings something completely different to campus, CJ Koepp delivers a memorable performance. The Wisconsin-raised, New York-based writer, activist, and stand-up comedian is known for her high-energy, “dark woke,” sillypilled comedy.

Since beginning stand-up in 2022, CJ has opened for Nick Kroll, Irene Tu, and Dave Attell while appearing in Pixar’s Hoppers, SF Sketchfest, and The Endless Honeymoon Podcast. Her comedy writing has also earned multiple honors, including the 2026 St. Nell’s Comedy Writing Residency and the 2025 Killing My Lobster New Voices in Comedy Writing Fellowship.

Sam Morrison

Millions of social media views helped introduce audiences to Sam Morrison‘s energetic storytelling, but his growing list of accomplishments has cemented him as one of comedy’s rising stars.

Sam has appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Comedy Central Featuring, The Drew Barrymore Show, and was named a Just For Laughs New Face. His acclaimed solo production Sugar Daddy extended Off-Broadway four times after being presented by Billy Porter and Alan Cumming, and his newest show, DUCK, premieres at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2026.

His fast-paced storytelling and relatable humor make him an excellent choice for college audiences.

Lady Bushra

Lady Bushra is one of the most distinctive new voices in comedy today. Created by Amir Dean, this British South Asian drag comedy character combines political satire, cultural observations, audience interaction, and improvisation into an unforgettable performance.

A Webby Award nominee and BBC New Comedy Award shortlisted performer, Lady Bushra has appeared on Revry TV and continues to gain international recognition through stand-up, television projects, and new productions currently in development.

Students will enjoy a performance filled with smart comedy, engaging storytelling, and quick audience interaction.

New Make & Take Experiences

In addition to expanding our entertainment roster, Neon Entertainment continues introducing creative make and take experiences that allow students to leave with personalized keepsakes they’ll use long after the event ends.

Bear Hugs: A Bear-y Positive Make and Take

One of our newest feel-good experiences is Bear Hugs: A Bear-y Positive Make and Take.

Students choose their favorite Create-a-Creature, stuff it, name it, dress it, and personalize it with an uplifting custom t-shirt message. Popular messages include “You Belong,” “Here For A Reason,” “You Got This,” “My Study Buddy,” or a custom message created during the event.

Bear Hugs is perfect for orientation, welcome week, finals, graduation, camps, and wellness programming. Participants leave with more than a stuffed animal. They leave with a positive reminder they’ll keep for years.

Photo Night Lights

Turn favorite memories into glowing keepsakes with Photo Night Lights. Participants personalize custom night lights using their own photos or choose from themed and curated images. Perfect for dorm rooms, apartments, and study spaces, this fully staffed experience combines creativity with practical décor students will enjoy every day.

Photo Wind Spinners

Photo Wind Spinners transform favorite photos into colorful decorative pieces that move beautifully indoors or outdoors. Students can personalize wind spinners featuring friends, pets, campus memories, family photos, or custom graphics before taking home a unique decoration for dorm rooms, patios, or gardens.

Photo Light Up Frames

Photo Light Up Frames allow participants to display their favorite memories in illuminated custom frames. These personalized displays make perfect additions to dorm rooms, desks, bedrooms, and apartments while providing students with a meaningful keepsake they can enjoy throughout the school year.
