1. Ro James
Ro James released his full-length, debut album, Eldorado, in 2016. It debuted at #3 on Billboard’s R&B Albums Chart and #8 on the Top Hip-Hop/R&B Albums Chart. His lead single, Permission, topped the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart for 10 weeks and earned him his first Grammy nomination for R&B Performance.
Ro was support on Maxwell’s summer 2016 tour, as well as dates with K. Michelle and Erykah Badu, and he headlined his own XIX Tour in support of his debut album, selling out multiple venues across the United States including Los Angeles and Atlanta.
2. White Reaper
White Reaper is most known for their “Judy French” video that had 400k streams overnight and their Polyvinyl album release of The World’s Best American Band that landed them an 8 out of 10 review on Pitchfork.
White Reaper has had several festival appearances including Bonnaroo, Hangout, Bunbury, Lollapalooza, MoPop, X Games, and Bumbershoot. Currently, they’re on tour with Spoon. On top of all their recent success, White Reaper just announced their Fall headline tour, after doing over 5,000 tickets on their Spring headliner run earlier this year.
3. Gabrielle Union
Gabrielle now available for speaking engagements. She is the star of the hit series Being Mary Jane, which is currently airing its 4th season on BET.
On top of her wildly successful career in film and television, she’ll soon be releasing her memoir, We’re Going to Need More Wine, which dives into a powerful collection of stories about gender, sexuality, race, beauty, Hollywood, and what it means to be a modern woman.
4.Roy Wood$
Roy Wood$ is a Toronto native signed to Drake’s OVO sound record label. His Debut EP Exis debuted at #10 on Billboard’s R&B Chart. On July 1, 2016, Roy released his debut album Waking at Dawn lead by single Gwan Big Up Urself.
Later, In 2016 Roy Wood$ Headlined his SOLD OUT Unlocked Tour, and in the summer of 2016 he supported Drake and Future on tour. Currently, Roy is working on his forthcoming album titled Say Less.
5. CVBV
CVBZ just wrapped up summer appearances at Billboard Hot 100, Firefly, Bunbury, Hangout, Breakaway, and more. He was regional support for LAUV and now has over 15M combined streams on Spotify.
His new single “Be Somebody” was featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday and got over 180,000 streams in the first 72 hours and is in the works of a massive 2017 collaboration coming this Fall.
