Hazed and Confused

Building strength of character and a healthy campus culture
What Every College Student Needs To Know®
About Hazing Prevention
“Despite the training, a young person almost died.” Perhaps you’ve heard a similar story. That’s why it can’t just be a training; it has to be so much more.
Hazed and Confused™ is a smart, engaging reality check: we must inspire people to believe and behave differently.
Hazing is a rite of passage, an initiation, the gauntlet, a trial by fire, a test of courage, and a rude introduction. But that is definitely not how we want to introduce people to our campus, organizations, or ourselves. It’s like saying, “We can’t wait for you to join our club—you just have to do these three dangerous and embarrassing things first.” That’s confusing.
Hazed people haze people.
Confused people confuse people.
When people lack a sense of purpose, the depth of meaning for who they are, and clarity in their values and what’s important to them, hazing occurs.
Rather than a lecture or compliance checklist, this show infuses our signature high-energy and discussion-based style, along with experiential activities, to help participants discover how to stand up—not just for others, but for themselves.
