Michael Rosman

From a high school start in 1984 with juggling and unicycling, through a University Of Delaware Finance degree, the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus Clown College, street performing in Europe and a year in the circus, Michael has become one of the most respected and sought after performers from the east coast.  His twenty-plus years performing including stints in Japan, Singapore, Atlantic City, Reno and Las Vegas, more than 25 different major cruise ships and 100 colleges and universities have helped shape and polish both his act and his demeanor.  Michael has created and performed with numerous comedy troops including the comedy waiters DumbWaiters® and the minor baseball clowns Dingbats.

Michael is a two-time winner of the prestigious Maryland State Individual Artist Grant Award for excellence in the arts. He is also the founder and director of the Laughter Arts Foundation, a 501 © 3 non-profit that produces the national variety arts professional development conferences MotionFest and MiniFest.  Recently Michael was honored for his 20 years of performing and assistance to Harborplace Management for his work in and with the Harborplace street performers program.  Michael was also honored to host and emcee the 2004 International Jugglers Association gala public show at the Shea’s Historic Theater in Buffalo, NY. This was followed by a feature article in the July 2005 Juggle Magazine.

“Saw your [Michael Rosman] performance yesterday at SUNY Oswego and loved it. I laughed so hard. My youngest son loved it too till you came walking across the back of the chairs towards us and he screamed “GO THE OTHER WAY!”. Lol. Best of luck in your future endeavors and hope to see your act again.”
