Roller skating on a roller rink. It’s tough to think of a more entertaining event than that. College students agree, which is why portable roller rinks have become one of the most popular events on campuses nationwide. If you’ve never seen one before, you might be surprised to find how easy they are to use, and we handle all the setup!
What’s Included in a Portable Roller Rink
We offer three different roller rink events: our standard Portable Rolling Rink, our Portable Glow Skating Rink, and our Roller Skating Party. Each of these activities includes a slightly different variety of roller skating.
The Roller Skating Party Includes:
- Approximately 75 pairs of Skates
- Lights
- Sound System for Music
- No Rink
The Portable Skating Rink Includes:
- Approximately 90 pairs of Skates (additional skates and children’s sizes available on request)
- Lights
- Sound System for Music
- 40′ x 60’ Standard Rink, 2,400 square feet. (Up to 7,200 square feet available upon request)
The Portable Glow Skating Rink Includes:
- Approximately 90 pairs of Skates (additional skates and children’s sizes available on request)
- Glow Lights
- Sound System for Music
- 40′ x 60’ Standard Rink, 2,400 square feet. (Up to 7,200 square feet available upon request)
- One-of-a-kind Glow Floor
Each of these events requires a large, completely flat and level surface, 2 20 Amp Power Circuits, Tables, and chairs. Glow Portable Rolling Rinks also work best in a dark interior space. Other than that, we handle everything else. Just tell us where you want the rink and when, and we’ll handle setting it up and packing it away. (Setup and teardown time takes 2-3 hours).
How does a Portable Roller Rink Event Work?
To set up our portable roller rink, we first lay out a large tarp to prevent damage to the floor. Then we connect a series of smooth interlocking tiles that make up the floor of the roller rink. These tiles are made of a material that ensures smooth skating that feels the same as a permanent skating rink.
