1. The Swon Brothers

You may remember American Country Duo, The Swon Brothers, from their successful run on season 4 of NBC’S The Voice.

Then, they were the first duo to make it from the Top 12 live shows to the season finale.

Now, they have over 20,000 Spotify streams, and their hit, “Don’t Call Me” has over 1 million streams.

 

2. Colin Jost

Colin returns to Saturday Night Live as the co-anchor of Weekend Update.
He is the recipient of three Writers Guild Awards, a Peabody Award, and multiple Emmy Award nominations.

Colin was a past president of the Harvard Lampoon, and has been published in The New Yorker and New York Times Magazine.

 

3. Robert Powell III

Robert’s recent work has included a comedy special on SeeSo, a spot on HBO’s All Def Comedy, and rave reviews at Montreal’s Just for Laughs festival.

Pulling from his experience in the political world, Robert has some of the sharpest satire in stand-up today.

He has shared the stage with Trevor Noah, Mike Epps, Cedric the Entertainer, Ron White, and Kevin Hart.

 

4. Smallpools

An energetic indie pop band, Smallpools, is most widely known for their debut single, “Dreaming”.

Their new single “Million Bucks” is climbing the indie/alternative charts, and their debut album Lovetap! peaked on Billboard’s Top 10 Alternative albums.

Smallpools will be supporting Misterwives’ on their upcoming US Fall 2017 ‘Connect The Dots Tour’ and their upcoming EP, The Science of Letting Go, will be released on August 4, 2017.

 

5. James Davis

His new show, Hood Adjacent with James Davis, premiered this past week on Comedy Central.

James Davis has been a writer on The Late Late Show with James Corden, has appeared on BET’s Real Husbands of Hollywood , and was featured on Comedy Central’s talk and stand-up show, Kevin Hart Presents: The Next Level .

His new show, Hood Adjacent with James Davis, premiered just 2 weeks ago on Comedy Central.
