Coloring ​relaxes the brain and provides the same state as meditating by reducing the restless mind. It generates mindfulness and quietness, which allows people to get some rest during hectic days.

Grab, Go, Color pairs well with speed friending, a structured activity where students rotate between tables for timed activity sessions, meeting new people while they color and create together. The shared creative task helps break the ice and makes it easier to start conversations during orientation.
