Carousol formed in Lakeland, Florida in April of 2004 where the immediately placed first place above many established bands in the region at a revered Battle of the Bands.  Soon after, the band began to write original songs, learning each other’s strengths while melding their variety of backgrounds into one distinct and incomparable sound. "I just work on the melody and guitar, and then these guys do whatever kind of funky stuff they want to do behind me," says guitarist and songwriter Woody Detwiler while recounting the bands one-of-a-kind sound. Carousol has a style all their own, mixing blues with jazz, funk, rock, and other ear-pleasing genres. Lexington Blue is unlike any other and are quickly earning their place in the world of good music.
