Rock music created with pop and folk sensibilities, Josh Aran is a singer/songwriter whose songs get inside you with an authenticity and a lingering hook. A native of the Twin Cities, Josh grew up singing and playing guitar. He attended a small liberal arts university in the Midwest where he earned bachelor’s degrees in English and Art History. After graduation he returned to Minneapolis to begin his music career. Since then his melodic vocal lines and lush guitar parts have made him an important part of the Twin Cities music scene. His single can be heard on college radio stations around the country, reaching the tops of many college playlists. His latest album ‘Between Us There Arose Happiness’ has met with critical acclaim and his live show has garnered the attention of many in the music industry. He has played coast to coast, from Buffalo, NY to Astoria, OR, gaining new fans at every stop along the way.
