This Boston-based quartette delivers high-energy power-pop that's punk-rock gritty, memorable, and straight-up fun. The songs range from tight, in-your-face cliffhangers to gentler romantic narratives that recall the energy and urgency of pop pioneers like Elvis Costello and early Joe Jackson, served up with a modern pop-punk sound. Since forming, the band has established a solid following and reputation in the Boston music scene and surrounding area. March 2004 marked the release of their debut album, which came to fruition with the help of producer Matthew Ellard of Q-Division Studios (whose credits range from national acts like Weezer to local heroes like The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, the Lemonheads, and Morphine.) This collaboration, arranged by Boston music guru Dickie Barrett (The Mighty Mighty Bosstones), has resulted in a high-energy nine-song debut.
