Arkansas Technical University
“I just wanted to say again that I thought that your performance was spectacular and I’m really glad you were able to make it to Tech. I think that the things you talked about, like rape culture and mental illness stigma, are important things to talk about and let people know that it’s important to talk about them. As I told you, I’m an RA on Tech Campus and my theme for my events is Social Justice. My first event was about Rape Culture and Feminism. My next event is about Mental Illness Stigma. So I was able to enjoy your comedy–not only because it was funny, but also because you were able to make people laugh about and feel comfortable with the topic of rape and depression. I think that’s the first step towards fighting rape culture and stigma. Thank you so much again for coming to Tech!!!”
