Jenn first began performing in a smoky cigar bar in the Buffalo, NY area. Jenn has made a name for herself by playing a unique style of piano-based pop, rock, and jazz to scads of audiences throughout upstate New York. Jenn and her band have opened shows for a diverse group of acts including Sarah Harmer, Rick Derringer, November Project, Mark Kozelek, Great Big Sea, and Splashdown. Jenn attributes her appeal to her love of music inspired by artists such as Janis Joplin, Alanis Morissette, U2, Tori Amox, and Dave Matthews. Her unique style has been referred to as a mix of Sarah McLaughlin’s softness, Alanis Morissette’s edge, and Janis Joplin’s soul. Side by side with variousproducers and musicians as companions, Jenn has fought her way to find her true voice, a ripe and warm voice full of heartfelt passion.
