her Myspace pageAlysia Wood is one of the bright new faces to come out of the strong Seattle comedy scene. The Louisiana native has settled in Los Angeles, quickly becoming a regular at Hollywood comedy hotspots.
She recently made the transition from comedy clubs, where she was in great demand, to college audiences that agree, "Wood can turn almost anything into a joke."
She's all over the radio and internet, appearing on the prestigious, nationally-syndicated show "Bob & Tom", where her material was complimented as "well-written… well-structured." She just made her second appearance on XM radio's National Lampoon Comedy Radio, where she was called "Hysterical!" and is used in multiple, constantly-airing sound bites. You can catch her four Comedy Time performances on AOL Comedy, the Yahoo Comedy Network, MobiTv and Babelgum.
In addition, Alysia was selected for the Boston Comedy Festival and was a finalist in numerous competitions, including the California's Funniest Female Competition.
