JAMIE LISSOW BIOGRAPHY:

Jamie Lissow is a native of Rochester, N.Y., graduating from Fredonia State with a degree in Math and Psychology. Jamie soon decided to abandon his plan of becoming a lawyer and decided to enter the world of stand-up comedy. A few years later, Jamie was invited to audition for the prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival where he earned himself a spot at the Montreal Comedy Festival in 2001.  At Montreal, interest in Jamie continued to grow. His appearance at the festival was a huge success, getting him a mention in The Hollywood Reporter and Variety magazine the following week.

Jamie's career has continued to soar. He's made appearances on The Late Late Show with Craig Kilbourne (Jan. 6, 2004), NBC's Late Friday (Nov. 23rd, 2001), The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (Dec 3rd, 2001) and is a proud Star Search loser (April 22nd, 2003).   In February 2005 Campus Activities Magazine nominated Jamie for Campus Performer of the Year and in September of 2005 he taped for Comedy Central’s Premium Blend in NYC.  The show aired January 13, 2006.
